About

The Hanover Logistics group is comprised of two operating companies: Hanover Terminal, Inc. (warehousing) & R.H. Crawford, Inc. (trucking).  The companies are family owned and operated out of Hanover, PA (40 miles north of Baltimore, MD and 30 miles south of Harrisburg, PA).

Hanover Terminal, Inc. began it’s journey in 1955 to service the Northeast U.S. region as a public warehouse company. With its central location, excellent service, rail access and shipping convenience, the company continues to grow its customer base leading to building an additional facility in phases throughout the ’80s & ’90s and a purchase of third facility in 2015 and a fourth facility in 2019. Today the company owns four facilities with over 1.2 million sf of prime warehouse space.

R.H. Crawford, Inc. started moving freight in 1932 for much of the local Hanover area. Touted as one of the first trucking companies to haul containers from the Port of Baltimore into Hanover, the Crawford family operated the company for 2 generations. R.H. Crawford, Inc. was, and still is, the truckload house carrier and broker for Hanover Terminal, Inc. In 2006 the two companies merged, via a purchase from the Crawford family, to create a full service logistics company offering trucking and warehousing services.
